started exploring the potential of IPFS
exploring the use of words by advertisers and others that are trying to sell. these things bother me. the use of human words in a non-human way.
when i signed up for patreon they guided you through the process of creating a page. suggested language, goals, etc. along with tips to get people to like you:
the ties to fake likes and followers that plague twitter, instagram and facebook are palpable with the message being a clear - con your way into people’s wallets.
It’s slightly warming up which means the nightcrawlers are coming out at, well, night. Standing outside while they’re feeding is a wild experience - the entire yard is moving, leaves are bobbing up and down as they roll around on the ground gnawing off bits of grass, leaves, etc. and what you mistake for the rustle of leaves on a windy night is actually them biting and chewing their food.
I don’t use uber because of their terrible business, its practices and the toll that it’ll take on the world.
For that very reason, I’m dropping a lot of social media. Facebook and LinkedIn are first.
