Photography

A simple fascination but a wonderful one. On one hand clouds are a constant. Rare is the day in the midwest when there isn't at least one cloud in the sky and in that sense, they're banal. They're the commonplace. But on the other hand, they're never exactly the same and never can be the same. Their locations, size, color, etc. can never match the one that came before it and in that sense, they're irreplaceable. A perfect contradiction.

Very early project from when I first picked up a camera. The concept was to shoot exactly one photo per day for something like 90 days (idea inspired by another photographer who wrote a book about it but I have since forgotten his name). Most of the photos have since been lost of improperly named but here are the remnants.
